CONSTRUCTION: A series of aluminum tread rails spaced at 1 7/8″, O.C. connected by a black vinyl hinge or mill finish aluminum hinge; supplied with a square aluminum edge, a black square vinyl edge or a black beveled vinyl edge around the perimeter. EM-650 available with perforated hinges only; EM-800 available with solid or perforated.
ALUMINUM TREAD RAILS: Furnished in mill finish 6063-T5 aluminum alloy. Optional finishes of clear anodized, bronze anodized or black anodized.
OPTIONAL VINYL EDGES: If desired, mats for surface use can have black beveled nosing attached; mats for recess use can have black square nosing attached.
MAXI-TUFT LONG WEAR CARPET INSERTS: Space dyed, 100% polyamide nylon, tetra-lobal fibers. Static Coefficient of Friction (ASTM D-2047-82). Standard Maxi-Tuft Carpet Insert Colors: Chrome, Navy, Denim, Sand, Emerald, Black Granite, Dusk, Dark Gray, and Winter Slate.
PVC VINYL INSERTS:
Dual Durometer corrugated rib design vinyl locked into extruded aluminum tread rails. Static Coefficient of Friction: Dry, 0.65; Wet, 0.71 (ASTM D-2047-82). Standard Vinyl colors: Black, Ash Brown, Terra Cotta, Pearl Gray, or Beige Desert. Weight: 2.7 lbs./sq.ft.
BRISTLE FILAMENT INSERTS:
Dual-fibers of soft olefin interwoven with specially engineered stiff “built-in crimp” fibers locked into extruded aluminum tread rails. Static Coefficient of Friction: Dry, 0.64; Wet, 0.76 (ASTM D-2047-82). Standard Bristle Filament Inserts: Brown, Sand, Near Black, Charcoal, or Teal. Weight: 2.5 lbs./sq.ft.
