Furnish and install Musson No. GS Black Grit Strips, a tough, mineral coated waterproof, non slip surfacing. Grit Strips shall be 1/32″ thick with pressure sensitive adhesive back. Prime floor with a light coat of Musson Grit Strip Adhesive in heavy traffic, outside, porous or slippery areas. Grit Strips shall be black in color ___ wide by ___ long. (Available pre-cut with rounded corners in standard sizes of 3/4″ x 24″; 3″ x 24″, 3″ x 36″, 6″ x 24″, or 5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″; or in rolls 60′ long in standard widths of 3/4″, 1″, 2″, 4″, 6″ or 12″. Also 3/4″, 1″ and 2″ rolls in gray, brown, beige, safety yellow or safety red; or photo-luminescent Glo-Strips 2″ wide x 60′ rolls or black & yellow hazard grit strips 2″ wide x 60′ rolls.
Grit Strips
A tough mineral-coated waterproof non-slip surfacing with a pressure sensitive adhesive back. Helps grip foot traffic, preventing slipping, easy to apply; use inside or outside. Rectangular sizes with rounded corners or in rolls cut to any length. We suggest priming surfaces with Musson Grit Strip Adhesive before applying. Ideal for entranceways, ramps and walkways, stairways, heavy traffic areas, work areas, loading docks, recreational vehicles, boats & docks, cafeterias, kitchens, coolers, around drinking fountains and ice machines.
Meets Federal Specs. Mil-S-17951C; Mil-W-5044C; Motor Vehicle Std. #302; OSHA Specs. 1910.24, 1910.26, 1910.217 and 1910.263. May be used for exposure to intermittent water or splash around swimming pools; will tolerate steam or detergent cleaning; essentially unaffected by climate, mild acid or alkali under normal conditions. All test data and results based on proper application on smooth, clean, dry surfaces. Grit Strips are also available in custom sizes. Minimum quantities apply.
